非常大胆的直面亲情和离散矛盾的电影。1983年KBS电视台对因朝鲜战争而离散的家庭寻找亲属的行动进行超长直播，电视上的重聚画面感动千家万户，但电影恰恰选取了现实残酷的一面——找到的亲人却是不想相认的人。那股子被民族裂痕碾压的无奈、现实不如想象的矛盾，深深压在离散家庭的成员身上，充满了强烈的压抑和困苦。
